We had a great stay at Villa D'Suite. The location is perfect, right in the heart of things, which is exactly what we wanted for the first part of our holiday. The villa, however, is a little tired and old looking. Some damage to tiles and discoloration of marble made bathrooms look a bit dirty. The villa staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was pretty disappointing as it was the same thing every day, so by the end of your stay you will never want to see an egg again. We moved to Villa Perela for our last 4 nights. A lovely villa away from the hustle and bustle in the rice fields. Only problem was that we were not told how far away! It was quoted as being one minute from the Canggu Club, it's not. It more like 20 minutes so any idea of a quick trip into town was quashed as it actually takes about 40 minutes to get to Seminyak. But if you don't plan to go anywhere it's fine. The villa staff are wonderful. An excellent cook and a very nice driver that make the stay very pleasant. You definitely need them though as a taxi would never find the villa and ducking out to get food supplies would be laborious due to the location. Probably would choose different villas next time, but we had a great time nonetheless.
